In 1971, Glover first joined PepsiCo as a President and General Manager. He was based in Purchase, New York and stayed here until approximately 1974. This year, Glover relocated to Brazil to become part of PepsiCo’s international branch, specialising in the Latin American division.

Personal Life
Glover was married to Donna Gay Glover. It is unknown how the pair met, but they got married on December 18th, 1968. Donna Gay was Canadian. At some point, the pair divorced from each other. Unfortunately, in 1998, Donna had a brain aneurysm that left her with serious cognitive and physical disabilities. Despite being divorced by this point, Glover returned to visit her in hospital and expressed regret about their relationship. In 2003, Donna Gay passed away from issues related to her brain aneurysm.
Glover has two children with Donna. His son, Steve Gilchrist, is better known by his stage name Steve-O and is a member of the famous entertainment group, Jackass.
